Ancestors are people who were once on mother earth but now are in the unseen world either through death or just ascending without dying. Yesterday l was teaching you that God uses them to release spiritual messages, spirit, power, anointing, and blessings to humankind. Once you disconnect yourself from spiritual ancestors, no generational blessing is transferred to your life.

1. Prophetic Spiritual Mediums

1 Samuel 28:8,13-16

[8]So Saul disguised himself, put on another raiment, and he and two men with him went and came to the woman at night. He said to her, Perceive for me by the familiar spirit and bring up for me the dead person whom I shall name to you.

[13]The king said to her, Be not afraid; what do you see? The woman said to Saul, I see a god [terrifying superhuman being] coming up out of the earth!

[14]Did he say to her, In what form is he? And she said An old man comes up, covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and made obeisance.

[15]And Samuel said to Saul, Why have you disturbed me to bring me up? Saul answered, I am bitterly distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I should do.

[16]Samuel said, Why then do you ask me, seeing that the Lord has turned from you and has become your enemy?

There are some men and women who have a spiritual gift to communicate with ancestors. We have some Prophets and Seers who are also gifted in this area, once you spiritually connect to them they impart this gift on you and you start contacting the ancestors.

This gift is highly used by witches, wizards, sorcerers, evil mediums as many children of the light have not yet tapped into it due to lack of knowledge. Saul visited an ungodly spiritual medium which you are not allowed to do to bring back the spirit of Samuel who died a long time ago. The dead Samuel came and communicated a spiritual message to Saul. This must tell you that ancestors do come back and start talking to you, warning you, and releasing blessings but it happens through the connections you have with spiritual mediums who connect with ancestors, use the godly ones, not demonic ones. Jesus Christ was also a prophetic spiritual medium, we see him communicating with Elijah and Elisha who already ascended into the spiritual world. Peter, John, and James were able to see these ancestors because they were connected to Jesus Christ.

2.Calling Upon God Of Ancestors

Exodus 3:16

Go, gather the elders of Israel together [the mature teachers and tribal leaders], and say to them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and Jacob, appeared to me, saying, I have surely visited you and seen that which is done to you in Egypt;

When you call upon God of your ancestors, those in the bible, and even those from your family, then God intervenes in your situation. If you are not assured of the God of your grandparents don't call it because some worshipped idols otherwise you will end up being initiated to evil and false gods. Spiritual ancestors are also released into your life to minister to you when you call upon their God.

Each time you say, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, their God intervenes but they also start associating with you in higher spiritual places and their blessings are transferred unto your life.

3.Taking Of The Dead Bones Of Your Ancestors

Exodus 13:19

And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for [Joseph] had strictly sworn the Israelites, saying, Surely God will be with you, and you must carry my bones away from here with you.

Remember l taught you yesterday that bones carry anointing and spiritual blessings. Many are the children who are suffering today because they don't take care of the bones of their ancestors.

Moses had to carry the bones of Joseph to Canan and God was with them on the way. I don't mean you must carry bones of dead people but take care of them where they are buried. Honor the bones of your dead relatives with nice coffins and build nice concrete on them. Make sure every year once or twice be going where your ancestors were buried to clean it and take care of it. You will hear somebody saying l don't visit graves of dead relatives it's ungodly yet the same person is planning a trip to Israel to see graves of dead people in the bible. The big problem is that we have associated black ancestors with evil and witchcraft and we have associated white ancestors with holiness, indeed a prophet is without honor in his village.

Once you take care of the bones of your ancestors and their relatives who are living, spiritually the ancestors start associating with you and blessing you.

4.CARING FOR OLD PEOPLE

Genesis 27:4

And prepare me appetizing meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat of it, [preparatory] to giving you my blessing [as my firstborn] before I die.

The oldest people await death anytime, they are about to become ancestors very soon they just wait for their time which God can take them.

The old grandfather Isaac told his son Esau that give me meat, l want to bless you. People of God be feeding old people, caring for them with all their needs, and ask them for a prayer. The prayer of an old granny you have given meat, sugar, and bread is so powerful than the prayer of your pastor. This is my secret l have revealed to you today. This generation is cursed because people see all old people as witches and wizards. Once such grannies die, they become ancestors and they start attending to your needs in the spiritual realm.

Even at the hospital, many people are sick and about to die, visit as many as you can, pray for them not all will be healed, some will die, those who have died, they become your blessing spiritually because of your visitation and the support you gave them.
